Help: Sling Sling is Nukefire's command for using spells. Syntax sling '<spell>' sling '<spell>' <target> sli '<spell>' <target> Examples sling 'armor' self sling 'burning hands' mutant sling 'cure light' Rambo sli 'fireball' raider Spell Names Spell names with spaces should be placed inside apostrophes. Single-word spells often work without them, but quotes are the clean old-MUD habit. Targets Some spells are self-only, some target enemies, some target friends, and some target objects. Check the individual help entry for the spell when you are not sure. Common Problems - You do not know the spell yet. - You do not have enough mana. - The target is missing, invalid, or protected. - The room, fight state, or spell rules block that use. Notes Older MUDs often say cast. In NukeFire, read cast as sling unless a help entry gives a different command. Use spells to see your available spells, and use help <spell> for details on a specific spell. See Also: cast, spells, Spellpower, focus, nofocus, Slinger
