Help: Shooting Details Shooting is its own combat system. It is not plain melee with a different message. Accuracy improves when - The target is stunned, sleeping, paralyzed, webbed, netted, or otherwise easy to line up. - You have strong Shoot skill, hitroll, dexterity, and gun class training. - You are using a class built around gunplay. Accuracy suffers when - You are blind. - You are the one tanking the fight, except where special class rules make that easier. - The target has strong dodge, blur, invisibility, or a hard defensive posture. Damage Gun damage starts with weapon and ammo behavior, then grows through impact damage, skill, class remorts, and gun-related class powers. The newer scaling keeps high-end gun users strong while making low skill and low class-remort shooters less explosive. See also: shoot, gun-classes, ammo, topoff
