Help: ShootingUsageshoot <target>Shooting uses firearms instead of ordinary melee swings. Any
class can fire a gun, but gun-focused classes and trained shooters
handle recoil, target choice, and bad footing better.
How shots land
Gunfire rolls against a target number. Dexterity, hitroll, Shoot
skill, class training, the target's dodge, position, blur,
invisibility, and control effects all matter.
Class training
Outlander, Infiltrator, Fanatic, and Occultist get the strongest
gun-handling advantage. Headhunter, Ranger, Pirate, and Gypsy get a
smaller advantage. Assassin and Ninja are mostly neutral. Other paths
are less natural with firearms.
Ammo
Shots spend rounds from the weapon unless a gun skill or passive
conservation effect saves the round. Some guns fire bursts. Some
shotguns or special weapons can fire multiple rounds at once.
Screen reader
Gunfire has reader-friendly summaries for many repeated-shot events,
showing shots landed, missed, and total damage when the command can
track that cleanly.
