Help: PirateDescription
Pirates are dirty sword fighters, boarders, duelists, and crew leaders. Their
best weapon is a cutlass or other slashing blade, backed by traps, powder,
ripostes, swagger, and the willingness to keep pressing when a fight gets
crowded.
Pirates can still learn Shoot, but they are not one of NukeFire's firearm
specialist classes. A Pirate with a gun is intentionally a poor shot and deals
very little firearm damage. The Pirate remort path is built around steel,
boarding pressure, powder tricks, and crew support instead.

The Black Flag
At 50 Pirate remorts the character remains a Pirate but enters an
in-class prestige path called the Black Flag. Sword and cutlass attacks,
Lunge, Keelhaul, Flurry, Swashbuckle, Cutlass Riposte, Plunder Trap, Powder
Keg, and later Boarding Sweep continue gaining strength instead of becoming
obsolete. Class Legacy opens for Pirate, and Black Flag titles continue every
25 Pirate remorts.
