PATH PATH lets you save room directions and travel them later. It can run a saved path all at once, load it as a careful step-by-step walk, record a path as you move, remember a temporary path back trail, or consume your current GPS route without becoming a second GPS system. Basic Syntax path save <name> <directions> path list path run <name> path go <directions> path walk <name> path step path step <number> path status path stop path back path back <number> path back status path back save <name> path back clear path record <name> path undo path pause path resume path finish path gps walk path gps save <name> path preview <name> path reverse <name> [newname] path del <name> Direction Format Use the normal direction letters: n e s w u d. Repeat counts may come before or after the direction. 3n e2 s w walks north 3 times, east 2 times, south, west n3,e2;s w means the same thing Spaces, commas, and semicolons are allowed to keep paths readable. Step Walking path walk <name> loads a saved path without moving yet. path step moves only the next step. path step 5 moves up to five careful steps. path status shows how much of the path is left. path stop cancels the active step walk. This is useful when exploring a new area, checking doors, watching for special rooms, or using a screen reader. Path Back As you move normally, PATH remembers a temporary breadcrumb trail back the way you came. This is not saved to your player file and may be lost on reboot, death, recall, teleport, or other unusual movement. path back moves one step back along that trail. path back 5 moves up to five steps back. path back status shows the current back trail. path back save <name> saves the current back trail as a normal path. path back clear forgets the current back trail. Manual doubling-back cleans the trail. For example, if you walk east and then immediately walk west, PATH removes that breadcrumb instead of building a useless east/west loop. Recording Paths path record <name> starts recording your successful room movement. Walk normally after starting the recording. path undo removes the last recorded step. path pause pauses recording without discarding it. path resume resumes a paused recording. path finish saves the recorded route. path cancel discards the recording. path recording shows recording progress. path status also shows recording progress when active. This is the easiest way to make a path after you have walked it once. GPS Integration path gps walk loads your current GPS destination, GPS anchor, or group rally route as a step-by-step path walk. path gps save <name> saves the current GPS route as a normal path. PATH does not replace GPS. GPS still owns destinations, anchors, pindrops, rally targets, and map overlays. PATH only uses the route that GPS gives it. Examples path save bank 2e 3n w path preview bank path walk bank path step path status path step 3 path back status path back path back save homeward path record riffshop n e path undo path pause path resume path finish gps set 8 path gps walk path gps save funhouse path reverse bank bankhome path run bankhome Notes PATH will try to handle normal doors much like the old speedwalk helper: it can open unlocked doors, use a proper key, and use pick lock when the door can be picked. If movement is blocked, the path stops instead of spamming commands. ■ ■ ■ ■ | | | | ■ - ■ - ■ - ■ - ■ - ■ | ■ - ■ - ■ | ■ = ■ - ■ - @ - ■ - ■ ■ ■ | | | * - * - * - * - ■ - ■ - ■ - ■ - ■ | | | | | ■ - ■ - ■ - ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ | ■ - ■ - ■ - ■ - ■ ■ ■ Path walk: gps:Riffs step 1 of 13 complete.
