Radiant Communion also applies the ward once this milestone has been learned. Mercy Ward reduces incoming normally reducible damage by 10 percent for a short duration. It starts at about 15 seconds, grows through the long Curist path, and reaches about 40 seconds at 2000 before applicable Legacy bonuses. Mercy Ward lives inside the ordinary damage-reduction path.
