Help: Melee Power Melee Power is a socket and gear combat rating for close-range physical damage. When it procs on an eligible melee hit, the strike lands with extra force before the target's normal defenses finish resolving the blow. How It Works - Melee Power is for melee, weapons, fists, and close combat. - It is not Spellpower and does not make spells stronger. - It is proc-based, so it does not happen on every swing. - It pairs well with damroll, good weapons, and combat skills. Player Scaling Player Melee Power is meant to stack over time as a broad 1-1000 rating. Higher rating keeps helping longer, but it is not a direct percent printed straight from the item. NPC Scaling NPC and mob-file Melee Power values still use the older builder-friendly 1-100 style. This keeps existing mobs readable and familiar. Good For - Warriors and weapon users. - Fist, blade, blunt, and close-range builds. - Heavy hitters who want bigger melee impact. - Socket and gear upgrade paths.
