Personal line gags hide selected ordinary text only for your character.
Rules save and return when you log in. Type gag for a colored guide.
Screen-reader users can type sr gag for the same guide in plain text.
OUTPUT is different: it filters by what a tagged message means rather
than by literal words in the line. Use OUTPUT for semantic families such
as combat, movement, loot, affects, and regen; use GAG for exact personal
text you still want removed. See help output.
Friendly Presetsgag skynet - Hide ordinary lines containing the word SKYNET.
gag comms - Quiet Gossip, Auction, Grats, and Newbie information.
gag loot - Enable loot, proc, and concealed-weapon summaries.
gag combat - Enable the complete combat-output summary profile.
Use gag comms off, gag loot off, or gag combat off to
restore the settings that existed before that preset was enabled.
Individual channel toggles remain nogos, noauction,
nograt, and nonewbie.
LOOT and COMBAT may overlap safely. Turning one off keeps any settings
still required by the other. COMMS restores its own channel settings.
SKYNET is a saved line-gag rule. Remove it with
gag remove skynet.
Custom Rulesgag exact {text} - Match the whole visible line.
gag starts {text} - Match the beginning of a visible line.
gag contains {text} - Match text anywhere in a visible line.
Matching ignores capitalization and display color codes. Literal text
only is supported; regular expressions are not used.
Managementgag status - Show line-gag and friendly-preset status.
gag list - List saved custom rules.
gag test - Test sample text without hiding anything.
gag stats - Show how many lines each rule has hidden.
gag off - Pause custom line rules without deleting them.
gag clear - Delete all custom line rules.
Safety
Player Actions still inspect every original line before it is hidden.
Maps, prompts, editors, pagers, login output, and protocol data are
never gagged. Incomplete lines are preserved until they are complete.
