------------------------------------------------------------ Syntax: focus <spellname> <mana> Examples: focus fireball 500 focus lightning bolt 500 focus ethereal celestial restoration 1000 The focus command prepares one supported spell by reserving additional mana. The reserved mana lowers your available maximum mana while Focus is active. When you cast the focused spell, the Focus surcharge is paid and the spell receives its Focus benefit. Only one spell may be focused at a time. Focusing a new spell releases the previous one. Focus state is restored across normal login/copyover when the saved focus is still valid. To release Focus manually: nofocus ------------------------------------------------------------ Damage spells currently available for Focus: - magic missile - burning hands - shocking grasp - chill touch - lightning bolt - color spray - call lightning - fireball - harm - calliope - annihilate - grave grasp - bonespur - disintegrate - disruption Healing/resource spells currently available for Focus: - cure light - cure critic - heal - rejuvenate - invigorate - sinful vigor - ethereal celestial restoration - demonglow ------------------------------------------------------------ Slinger Arcane Ascendancy At 800 - Archmage and later Slinger milestones, Focus grows stronger and its damage ceiling can rise above the normal Focus ceiling. Mana Reactor, Neon Grimoire, TechnoMage, and some Slinger Class Legacy runes continue that growth. The amount of mana committed still matters; there is no artificial minimum Focus damage bonus. Curist Last Light Ministry At 800 - High Priest and later Curist milestones, the healing portion of Focus grows stronger. Mercy Reactor, Halo Grid, Saint of the Last Light, and Curist Class Legacy runes continue that progression. Focus still pays its normal surcharge before Curist high-remort healing efficiency is applied. Room-wide/AOE damage spells are intentionally not in the Focus list unless they have an explicit Focus policy.
