The first qualifying cut places Duelist's Measure if the target is not already measured; later disciplined cuts exploit the opening. Base Measure: - lowers the target's dodge by 10; - lasts about 4 ticks; and - causes later Samurai discipline attacks to gain another 10 percentage points of path damage while the Measure remains. At 800 remorts the dodge penalty rises to 15. At 1500 it rises to 20. Rune of the Iron Reed adds another 5 dodge penalty, extends the Measure by one tick, and raises the measured-target damage bonus from 10 to 15 percentage points.
