Help: Gear Bonding Usage bond <item> <player-id> Gear Bonding places a personal ownership bond on wearable equipment. A bonded item belongs to one player: only that player may wear it, and while it is worn it is protected from being looted from that player. Bond sets or changes that personal bond by player ID number. The item must be in your inventory. If the item is already bonded to the same player, nothing changes. If it is bonded to someone else, the old bond is cleared and the item is rebonded to the new target. The target may be online or offline, but the ID number must resolve to a real player. Use this carefully; ID numbers are exact. The normal player-facing Gear Bonding service is in Ground Zero. Shop services may use buy bond <object> or buy rebond <object> there. Important Gear bonding is not spirit binding. Spirit Bindings are ten character slots handled by Scarthex in Dragonspyre and behave more like implants or tattoos. Bonding does not put an item into a spirit slot. See Also: bindings, boundstat, identify, shops
