BATTLEORDER BATTLEORDER lets an approved tank or crew leader give commands to their own approved follower characters. This command is designed for approved multibox crews, screen reader users, and players who have a harder time controlling several client windows at once. It lets the tank command the crew from the front line without giving anyone free attacks, free speed, or free actions. Basic Syntax battleorder <follower> <command> battleorder all <command> battleorder crew <command> battleorder others <command> battleorder status Examples battleorder thrain bash battleorder thrain combo bash kick kick battleorder thrain rescue thorin battleorder thorin firstaid thrain battleorder all assist battleorder all stand battleorder others assist battleorder crew combo bash kick kick If Thrain and Thorin are approved followers, the tank may order one of them by name, or may order the whole approved crew at once. Remote Orders Approved followers do not have to be in the same room or currently grouped for BATTLEORDER to queue a command. This does not mean every command will work from anywhere. The ordered character still performs the command from wherever they are. If the command needs a local target, a combat opponent, a room object, the right position, or a valid room situation, the normal game rules still decide whether it works. Example: battleorder thrain recall Thrain attempts to recall from Thrain's current room. Example: battleorder thorin rescue thrain Thorin attempts to rescue Thrain. If Thrain is not a valid rescue target for Thorin's current situation, the normal rescue rules apply. All, Crew, Party, Everyone, and All4 The following forms order the whole approved crew: battleorder all <command> battleorder crew <command> battleorder party <command> battleorder everyone <command> battleorder all4 <command> These forms include the tank/leader and up to three approved followers. Example: battleorder all assist This makes the tank, Thrain, Thorin, and the other approved follower all attempt to assist. Example: battleorder all combo bash kick kick This makes the tank and all approved followers attempt to set the same combo. Others Use others when you want only the approved followers to act. battleorder others <command> Example: battleorder others assist This makes Thrain, Thorin, and the other approved follower attempt to assist, but the tank does not issue the command to himself. How It Works When you type: battleorder thrain bash you are not bashing. Thrain is attempting to bash. When you type: battleorder thrain combo bash kick kick Thrain is attempting to set that combo. When you type: battleorder thorin rescue thrain Thorin is attempting to rescue Thrain. When you type: battleorder all stand the tank and all approved followers attempt to stand. The ordered character still uses the normal command system. That means the ordered character must be able to perform the command normally. Important Rules BATTLEORDER does not give free attacks. BATTLEORDER does not bypass skill delay. BATTLEORDER does not bypass mana, move, level, class, remort, room, position, combat, or command restrictions. BATTLEORDER does not make the tank pay the follower's delay. BATTLEORDER does not move followers, summon followers, or make remote targets valid. The tank gets no extra BATTLEORDER delay. The ordered character pays the normal delay for the command they were ordered to perform. For example, if Thrain is ordered to bash, Thrain receives the normal bash delay. The tank does not receive that bash delay. Approved Crews Only approved crews can use this command. An approved crew has one leader and up to three followers. The game checks the characters by their player id numbers. A normal approved crew might look like this: Leader: Enigma Followers: Thrain, Thorin, Mercy Only the approved leader may give battle orders to those approved followers. Common Tank Aliases Most tanks will use BATTLEORDER through aliases. Examples: alias kk battleorder thrain bash alias kc battleorder thrain combo bash kick kick alias ka battleorder all assist alias ko battleorder others assist alias kr battleorder thorin rescue thrain alias ks battleorder all stand Then, during combat, the tank can type a short alias like kk and Thrain will attempt the full ordered command. Status Use: battleorder status to see which approved followers are online and available for battle orders. Good Uses Good BATTLEORDER uses include: battleorder thrain bash battleorder thorin rescue thrain battleorder all assist battleorder others assist battleorder all stand battleorder thrain combo bash kick kick battleorder all combo bash kick kick battleorder thrain recall The best use is simple, clear crew control from the approved leader. Failed Orders A battle order can fail for normal reasons. Thrain may be delayed. Thrain may not know the command. Thrain may not have enough mana or move. Thrain may be sitting, stunned, dead, or unable to act. Thrain may be in a room where that command is not allowed. Thrain may not have the right local target or combat situation. When this happens, the normal game rules decide the result. Flushqueue If you accidentally stack too many queued commands, use: flushqueue This clears your pending command queue. FLUSHQUEUE does not remove lag, wait time, recovery, or skill delay. It only removes commands that have not run yet.
